Release and keys come first
A vehicle cannot be picked up if it is not released, the seller is unavailable, or keys cannot be found. Confirm those basics before the move is treated as ready.
Auction, dealer, private, and fleet pickups each have their own version of release.
Condition surprises slow the pickup
A vehicle described as running may have a dead battery, flat tire, missing key, locked steering, or blocked access. Those details affect loading.
Current photos and honest condition notes are better than a hopeful description.
Seller confirmed keys, battery weak, carrier knows boost may be needed.
Vehicle condition unknown and no one available on site.
Access should be obvious
A vehicle parked in a driveway, storage lot, apartment garage, auction row, or rural property may have access limits. Send a wide photo if access is not obvious.
If another vehicle must be moved first, mention it.
Delay-prevention checklist
A short check before scheduling can prevent the common problems.
- Release confirmed
- Keys available
- Running condition known
